The ongoing feud between both infamous makeup entrepreneurs and former besties Kat Von D and Jefree Starr took center stage on social media. It all started when Kat Von D posted a photo on Instagram of Jefree Starr with the caption explaining her decision to not be affiliated with him anymore. Hours later, she posted to her YouTube channel in a tell-all video exposing Jefree, explaining the drama that had been going on days before. This ultimately led to an explosive falling out between the makeup besties.

 
In her 14 minute video, Kat Von D expressed her disgust towards the person that Jefree has become and the truth behind his brand. Throughout her video, she remains calm as she states her side of the story and concludes her video by saying, “I don’t want anybody to go after Jefree. I don’t want to go and attack or start wars”

 
“When I saw Kat’s video, my first reaction was surprised because she straight out exposed Jefree. Even though I don’t agree with exposing him in front of a large audience, I think everything she said was valid,” Taylor Lofton (10) said.

 
Little did she know, that her video would start a world war on Twitter. Back and forth there were comments of fans lashing hateful comments towards Jefree. Jefree Starr’s responses to the abundance of tweets was from just feeding into the fire. He tried to prove his side of the story, but ultimately failed to do so. At around 6:00, Jefree Starr posted a video explaining his side of the story, calling Kat Von D a liar.

 
“I’m definitely on Kat Von D’s side because the way she came out to her fans and was honest about why she wanted to be friends with Jefree. She showed Jefree’s true colors and how horribly eh has treated people,” Leo Diaz (12) said.

 
Although the friendship between Kat Von D and Jefree Starr has crumbled, the outrageous tweets have stopped. Many fans have remained neutral of the situation or have picked a side. I guess you can say that there is always two sides to the story.
