The Heritage Boys’ Water Polo season is ending. But the Water Polo Team for boys has always been a
talented team as two-time BVAL champ. In a recent BVAL Semifinal against Pittsburg, Heritage
got 22 pts against Pittsburg, and they had only one point. The top number of goals scored on the team is
being held by Tony Trapanese (11) at 65 pts.

Many athletes are sad about their season coming to an end.
“I honestly don’t even know what sport I want to do now since I always been committed
to water polo, but it happens every year, so I think I’m just going to have to go with the flow,”
said Asthon Culpepper (12).
“The season coming to an end isn’t like the end of the world it’s just going to be hard for me to
find a new sport to do since this has been my childhood sport,” said Advaith Jana (11).
Even though the sport will be ending, the water polo team’s spirit will not. The water polo
boys’ team has always set high goals for themselves, and commitment to practice the sport outside of the season is important.
“It’s a cool sport I’ve been doing and made it to varsity, so I’m committed to it so it’s
cool,” said Zachary Lengyel (12).
The Patriots wrapped up their season with a 6 win streak, beating Pittsburg in the BVAL Semifinals. The team took a loss to Liberty for the BVAL Championship with a score of 6-12.
