Sunrise on Senior Year

It’s the beginning of the end for the senior class of 2017. Sitting around looking at one another some may have been with one another since kindergarten or maybe even earlier, and realizing that this is the last year where they will all be together as one.

Realizing that the seniors are almost at the end of their high school career, it was a very special morning. As everyone gathered to watch the sun rise, the seniors reflected on their past experiences at heritage and are ready to push to the end.

“Looking at the sun rise I just came to the realization that this is a great experience to have with my class,” Fanci Dominguez (12) said.

Everyone was taking pictures with their friends in this moment that they would remember for a life time. As they watched the sun go up it symbolized the beginning of a new year in which it signified that the lives of the seniors is in their own hands. Their future is what they make of it and it starts now.

“I never realized how fast my life was progressing the thought of me growing up is crazy. It’s scary knowing that from here on out what I do with my life is my decision, and I am beginning to pave the way for my future,” Kat Hall (12) said.

High school goes by in the blink of an eye, and for the seniors, the end is only the beginning.
