With the end of the year a mere month away thoughts of summer are intruding Heritage High School student’s minds with thoughts of hot days and cool nights. Yet once the summer days begin to dwindle down students usually face pre-school stress. Subconsciously but constantly worrying about the next school year and what they will accomplish.

“What is most important for me to accomplish next school year is getting a 4.0, doing extracurricular and completing at least five classes at LMC.  I would also really like to change the amount of procrastinating I did this year, it would help me in all areas of study.”

  • What makes you the most nervous?

“Everyone says that Junior year is the hardest.. So staying on top of my school work is really huge.”

  • Lastly, what are you most excited about?

“As a Junior I’ll get more choices in my classes because I don’t have PE anymore and upperclassmen get first choice!”

Incoming Senior: Derek Jones

  • What is most important for you next school year?

“The most important thing to me about senior year is my parents getting to see me get my diploma.”

  • What makes you the most nervous?

“I feel the most nervous about this being my last year in high school, before really having to grow up and do it all on my own.”
